Description

Practical Energetics Research (PER) is currently searching for a Mechanical Engineering Intern for the summer of 2019. The Internship would run from May to August/September. Candidates are expected to work 20-40 hours per week. The Mechanical Engineering Intern will assist in preparing and analyzing, plans, specifications, tests, and products under general supervision. While this position is labeled as mechanical, the position is open to any of the engineering fields listed in the educational requirements.

Education & Other Qualification Requirements

- Must be a junior or senior in good standing, or graduate in Mechanical, Aerospace, Chemical, Nuclear, or Electrical Engineering

Desired Qualifications

- Practical knowledge of basic engineering practices.

- Experience with Python or C++

- Hands on experience with additive manufacturing methods .
