Description

PER is currently seeking a full-time technician to join the team at our corporate headquarters in Huntsville, AL. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, capable of continually learning, performing cable assembly, electronic circuit debugging, and assembly of components into systems.

Primary Responsibilities

- Circuit debug, repair, testing, and integration into new and existing systems.
- Mechanical integration of electronics, cables, and other components into new and existing systems.
- Operate as part of a team to evaluate, recommend, and implement new test and assembly operations to improve and maintain operations.
- Hardware layout, assembly, testing, and prototype delivery of system solutions.
- Plan, schedule, and execute defined projects with minimal oversight and on time.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs.

Education & Other Qualification Requirements

- High School diploma or equivalent
- Eligibility to obtain U.S. SECRET security clearance

Desired Qualifications

- The candidate should have a thorough knowledge of electronics, soldering, breadboarding, and testing software.
- Experience with SolidWorks, MCAD, or similar tools
- Additive manufacturing experience.
- The candidate should have a thorough knowledge of how to assess existing systems, implement new solutions, modify hardware to fit prototypes, and communicate ideas effectively.
- Proficiency in programing languages such as Python, Matlab, C/C++, Labview, etc.
- Excellent oral and written communications, team-oriented work practices, strong data analysis skills, technical problem-solving ability, organizational skills, multitasking ability, and excellent computer skills.
- Technical Associates degree or equivalent.
- Experience with Manufacturing and Quality systems.
- Active U.S. SECRET clearance.
